Lacey - OwnerNASM-Certified Personal Trainer/R.N., B.S.N. Lacey began teaching group fitness classes in 2002. She is certified to teach BODYPUMP™, BODYCOMBAT™, Kinesis and Bosu classes. She became certified as a personal trainer in May of 2007 with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is the co-creator of Obsidian®. She specializes in Corrective Exercise Training, Weight Loss Management and Sports Performance for Youth. Lacey graduated from the University of Utah with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She has worked in Burn Trauma ICU and as a Pediatric Liver Transplant Coordinator at Primary Children’s Medical Center. As a nurse, she truly cared about and empathized with her patients. Her goal was to help each patient lead a better and healthier life. She has carried this same attitude and desire over to fitness. She loves nothing more than helping her clients recognize their strengths and true potential. Lacey loves adventure and is a thrill seeker. She lives by the quote, “you never know how far you can go, unless you run.” She is the mother of five year old twin girls and a seven year old daughter. Lacey loves doing anything and everything with her family. She appreciates all of those that have contributed to making DASH all about Determination, Attitude, Strength and Heart!! |

Erin - OwnerNASM-Certified Personal Trainer Erin has extensive knowledge and experience in group fitness, personal training and nutrition. She has helped numerous clients transform their bodies and increase their confidence while helping them realize the important role fitness plays in health maintenance. Erin is certified to teach BODYPUMP™ (weight lifting), BODYCOMBAT™ (kick boxing) and BODYJAM™ (cardio dance). She is also the co-creator of Obsidian®. In May 2007, Erin certified as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is also certified to teach Kinesis. Erin graduated from the University of Utah in 2004 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Erin is passionate about fitness and fashion and firmly believes, “being fit is always in fashion!” She is in the process of designing a fitness clothing line which she hopes to unveil in the near future. She is crazy about her little boy and loves nothing more than spending time with her friends and family. |

AprilStott Pilates, Group Fitness Director April has been teaching Les Mills fitness classes since 2003. She is certified in BodyPump, BodyCombat, BodyStep, and BodyJam. April has also been teaching Stott Pilates since 2004 and has been training clients on the Reformer since the opening of DASH. She began dancing at an early age and has always believed movement and physical activity to be vital to a long healthy life. She knows exercise has healed her life in so many ways and enjoys sharing those benefits with others. She believes in these programs with all her heart, not only because of the results they deliver, but because they are FUN! She hopes that people look forward to coming to class and leave feeling completely refreshed both mentally and physically. She loves the group atmosphere at DASH and has enjoyed being part of such an amazing group of women. She truly believes DASH has the best members anywhere! April graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelors degree in Business Finance and has been working for a CPA firm since 2002. She has one daughter, another on the way, and loves her family more than anything! |

KristiGroup Fitness Instructor Kristi has been a group fitness instructor since 2004 and is certified to teach Body Pump, Body Step, Body Vive and Body Jam. She is married and has three beautiful daughters. Kristi's family is the most important thing to her, but another very important aspect of her life is health. She graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Health Education and Promotion. She enjoys educating people on how to improve their overall health and change their lifestyles. Kristi hopes to encourage people to be active in order to improve their quality of life. She feels the Les Mills programs are the best group fitness classes out there. She only had to take one Body Combat class and was immediately hooked! Kristi hopes everyone can come to DASH and feel the same way that she did and have life changing experiences! |

PatBe strong, live long. Like many people as they age, some health problems have at times slowed her down, but OBSIDIAN® was the answer to bring back strength, stamina and the joy of feeling fit even at age 60. She is also the very proud mother of Lacey and has adopted Erin and the rest of the DASH instructors. Even more important to her than keeping healthy is the love of her life, her husband and her 5 children and 10 lively grandchildren. Pat earned a Masters Degree from the University of Utah. She has been a motivational speaker and teacher of youth specializing in stress management. Pat is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. She specializes in adults 40-70 and those new to fitness or out of shape! |

LauraLaura is an artist by trade. An overly rambunctious kid, she found fulfillment in the movements of dance, gymnastics and running. In College Laura discovered weightlifting and circuit training and her love affair with all things movement continued. Laura is passionate about people and the connections that enrich lives, so group fitness is a natural fit, and has turned out to be one of her obsessions. She is a Professional Photographer and has been with Busath Photographers for over 10 years. She holds a Bachelors degree in Organizational Communication and a Masters in Photography. She loves to be outside exploring Utah, running, traveling, reading for knowledge and health, but most of all enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Laura often refers to exercise as her drug of choice because of the mental and emotional benefits. |

CatherineGroup Fitness Instructor Catherine is a creative, free spirit with an infectious zest for life. She loves people and thrives off of helping others have fun. She enjoys motivating others and seeing them reach new limits. Catherine loves being active- a competitive gymnast, soccer player at Highland High School, water and snow skier and now fitness instructor. A dedicated mother of three, she loves family and recognizes the important role fitness plays in helping her be a better mother and find that ever-elusive balance in life. "Having a physical outlet has completely improved my overall sense of well-being," she says. Catherine attended the University of Utah and served an LDS mission in Argentina. She is a freelance makeup artist, first learning the ropes with MAC for 3 years. She also loves remodeling and interior design. In fact, her first role at DASH was as our interior designer. She was so inspired by the DASH team and DASH approach that she jumped onboard, certifying in BODYCOMBAT™ and - as she puts it- "changing everything for the better- family, friends, fitness and balance." |

LinneaLMT Group Fitness Instructor Linnea has always had a love for health and fitness. In 2003 she graduated from Myotherapy College of Utah with a degree in Massage Therapy, and specializes in Deep Tissue, Sports Massage and Chronic Pain therapy. Her career as a fitness instructor began in 2006 when she certified to teach Yoga. It changed her outlook on life so much that she wanted more! Linnea was first introduced to Les Mills while living in Colorado Springs, and is certified to teach BODYVIVE™, BODYCOMBAT™ and BODYFLOW™. Linnea loves being a member of the DASH team and says, "I have the best job in the world, I get to come to work and help people change their lives…and it changes mine too." Linnea enjoys running, hiking, drawing, riding her road bike, backpacking and just about anything there is to do outdoors! She is happily married to her husband, Joe and loves her yellow lab, Sam. She is currently studying to become an NASM certified personal trainer so she can share her passion with others. |

KathleenGroup Fitness Instructor Kathleen took her first Les Mills class almost eight years ago and has never looked back. She is a firm believer in the power and fun of group fitness. She's proof that whether you come alone or bring a friend, group fitness is fun, effective and addictive. She loves the saying "smiling is optional; finishing is not". (We dare you to find her not smiling in class though)! Kathleen is certified in BODYPUMP™, BODYVIVE™, BODYCOMBAT™ and BODYSTEP™. Kathleen is married and the mother of four children who range in age from 8 to 17. She also enjoys gardening, reading, community involvement and volunteering at her children's schools. She believes that fitness is vital at every age, and loves that DASH offers programs and training that meet the needs of all its members. At DASH, no one is left behind. Together we begin and together we finish. |

KaraGroup Fitness Instructor Kara recently moved to Salt Lake City from Boise, ID where she was certified in the phenomenal Les Mills BodyStep and BodyAttack formats. Teaching group fitness classes and sharing the benefits of exercise with others kept her energy high while she earned her degrees from Boise State University in Health Science Studies, Exercise Physiology, and Gerontology. She was a 5 year member of the nationally recognized Boise State Mane Line Dance Team. Dancing, choreographing, and teaching has always been and will continue to be a passion of hers. Kara is currently pursing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Utah and cannot wait until she is able to practice in her own clinic. She hopes that by teaching people proper ways to maintain their optimal health, they will be able to enjoy their lives and continue to participate in group exercise classes and other recreational activities forever! Kara is happy to be a part of the dynamic and passionate team at DASH. |

BrianneGroup Fitness Instructor Brianne has been teaching Les Mills group fitness classes for over five years and is certified in BODYPUMP™ and RPM™. She is addicted to all Les Mills programs and is committed to their philosophies. She loves exercising and believes it is a key ingredient to living a happier, healthier and fuller life. Brianne is passionate about absolutely everything she sets her mind to. She is energetic, outgoing, and has a strong desire to care for others and help them reach their potential. Besides exercising, she loves her friends, family, her puppy, sports, traveling, personal growth, eating clean, and of course, DASH!!! |

JoseGroup Fitness Instructor Jose has been a group fitness instructor since 2007. He is certified in BODYCOMBAT™, BODYPUMP™, and BODYSTEP™. He is also trained in group Boot Camp and Spinning classes. Aside from teaching group fitness, he is a fulltime mortgage underwriter. He is always looking forward to time at the studio for some much needed stress relief. It wasn't until college that Jose realized how much he loved group fitness. He took a PE class for general studies, and from there found that he too could motivate people to get fit and live healthier lives by staying active. A year later, Jose found LesMills BODYCOMBAT™ and was HOOKED! He joined the BODYCOMBAT™ team at DASH in 2009 and later became part of the BODYPUMP™ & BODYSTEP™ team. He is currently studying to become a Personal Trainer through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and expects to be fully certified by the end of the year. Jose has a passion for teaching these phenomenal programs and invites you to “come get hooked!” |

EmilyZumba Instructor Zumba is Emily's passion! Her love for dance combined with her desire to stay fit, motivated her to become a certified Zumba instructor. She has taught numerous classes throughout the valley for over three years! Emily has an extensive background as a dancer, dance instructor, and choreographer. She is a full-time student at the University of Utah working towards a major in Graphic Design and Business. Emily is thrilled to bring the hypnotic Latin rhythms of Zumba to DASH fitness!! Her class will leave you feeling energized and rejuvenated! |

KattyZumba Instructor Katerina 'Katty" Zlochevsky has been dancing for 17 years and has extensive training in jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip-hop and Latin dance. She has danced and choreographed for many dance teams in Salt Lake and currently teaches Zumba throughout the Salt Lake Valley. She discovered Zumba and instantly fell in love with the class. Her passion for dance and fitness, in combination with NASM personal training certification, makes her Zumba classes dynamic, unique and most of all fun!
